The redevelopment of Anston House, which has been abandoned for more than 25 years, marks the first time First Base has embarked on a Brighton-based project. First Base has acquired in partnership with Hyde Housing Group a prime development site at Preston Park in Brighton. The site which consists of Anston House, a derelict office building, alongside surrounding land will deliver a mixed use scheme comprising apartments and some commercial / workspaces. Internationally renowned architectural practice Conran & Partners has been appointed as the lead designer and the scheme will feature First Base’s key design principles including high specification apartments that are spacious and bright, with useable outside space, all fitting into the existing landscape.
